Tom Brady injury confirmed as a fake

Looks like the AP also caught wind of my report. Apparently now even they are questioning the “injury” to Tom Brady. AP writer Howard Ulman wrote the following

Tom Brady walked in New York without the protective boot that he had worn on his right foot, increasing the likelihood that his injury was not serious.

The Web site, TMZ.com, posted a video Tuesday showing the Patriots star walking without the boot and without a noticeable limp through a group of photographers in New York and getting in a cab. The video, lasting 1 minute, 11 seconds, then briefly showed his girlfriend, Gisele Bundchen, leaving a residence.

Several Web sites had photos Monday — credited to infphoto.com — that showed Brady wearing a walking boot on his right foot. A video of Brady walking with a slight limp from an SUV to Bundchen’s home was also available on TMZ.com.

Later Monday, other pictures showed him wearing black shoes — and no boot — when he showed up at a New York hotspot.

I warned anyone who was reading too much into this. I’m sure it’s all part of Bill Bellicheat’s plan. After all Tom Brady has been listed on the injury report for years now and no one has even batted an eye about it. Just check out his wikipedia page if you need to.

As of the end of the 2007 NFL season, Brady has been listed on the Patriots’ injury report as “probable” with a right shoulder injury every game for four seasons; nevertheless, Brady has the third-longest active streak of most consecutive starts by an NFL quarterback, trailing only Brett Favre and Peyton Manning.

  1. It’s been confirmed that Brady does have a mild high ankle sprain. Not quite the “fake”.

  2. according to who? the coach? the boston globe? real reliable sources!
