and it ain’t coffee!

The 6 ft 7, 290 lb left hander threw his second complete game in as many starts Friday night as the Brewers routed the Giants 10-1. Sabathia has been just plain filthy since being acquired from the Cleveland Indians posting a 3-0 record and a 1.88 ERA in his three starts for the Brew Crew.

Friday night Sabathia struck out 10 and was just a solo home run from Aaron Rowand away from a shut out. Last years American League CY Young award winner obviously has all the hops going in the right direction these days after a sluggish April.

The Brewers are hoping that Sabathia can keep the mug filled with the good stuff as they chase down the Cubs in the NL Central. After all they traded highly touted prospect Matt LaPorta for him.

The hope out of Milwaukee is that CC will help the team reach the playoffs for the first time since 1982.
