Kinsler proving last season no fluke

One question around camp this spring was could Ian Kinsler produce for a full season like he did last season.

Kinsler smacked 20 home runs and drove in 61 last season while playing in 130 games for the club.

This year Kinsler celebrated his first All Star selection as one of four Rangers to make the trip to New York. Entering Sunday Kinsler was hitting a robust .330/.390/.537 with 14 homers and 58 RBI while primarily batting leadoff for the team.

Early on he’s proving the Rangers were wise to sign him to a 5 year extension thru 2012 worth $22 million.
