Maryland, Football and much more

Sometime tonight the wife and I expect to load up the Forenza with our son and all the usual road trip needs and head off to Maryland for a week.

With that being said updates, thoughts and other opinions you may or may not agree with will likely be scarce until we return.

While in Maryland we figure to attend the Crab Festival, catch an Orioles game and meet up with some other members from my side of the family. It’s been nearly three months since my mom last saw our son CJ. While he hasn’t grown too much hair since that time he has started to smile, began scooting, and has become an extreme flirt.

So if you don’t see much (or anything) on this blog in the next week don’t fret.

Oh yeah, I’m far past ready for some Football!

I’ve began looking on the internet for some new Dallas Cowboys apparel to wear. Frankly I only have a t-shirt with some paint on it, a Roy Williams shirt that has shrunk and become too small and a pullover. How is that going to rep my team this season?

With us no longer living in Texas my chances to go to the store and pick up a few things of the ‘Boys has diminished.

Sigh, I suppose I’ll have to look past that for now.

One shirt that did catch my eye I noticed on ebay is to the right. It’s cleaver, and while I’ve seen Brady, Moss ‘08 as well it’s still a pretty neat play on the presidential race.

Speaking of that race…

I’m way past tired of hearing about it. It feels like we have been hearing about it for two years now. I realize that a new man will be in office come mid-January but seriously there are other things happening in the world between now and then. Can we please get a little air time to those things? Are we going to only talk about that for the next five months?

My father in-law has made it a daily routine to talk about how Barrack Obama is the wrong man for the job. While I tend to agree I do get tired of hearing about it.

Then what will happen if Barrack does get in? We’ll probably hear for four years or whatever that he was just not the man for the job.

Well whatever, that’s about the most politics you’ll ever have to worry about me writing.

Ballhype: hype it up!
