The playoffs start today… I’m there

As the Chicago White Sox were working on the final outs of their Monday game against Detroit I knew what was going to happen.

All season I had promised the wife that I’d take her to see the White Sox, and while we did see them in Baltimore I knew she’d only truely be happy if we actually went to the South Side.

Getting tickets to tonights game was a usual ticketmaster mess but we pulled though and will be seated in the upper deck. It doesn’t matter where we sit. We just wanted to be there.

After not seeing the Sox for 81 home games it’s the 82nd, game 163 of the year, that we will attend.

You probably won’t be able to see us if you’re watching TBS but we will be there.

Left handed pitcher John Danks, a guy I saw at the Double-A level when he was still in the Texas Rangers system, takes the hill for the White Sox. He wasn’t very good in his last outing and will be on short rest. Danks could really go a long way in this one.

Both teams expect to pull the trigger soon should either starter falter and both teams will have lineups of potential heros.

Ballhype: hype it up!
