By carrie • Nov 24th, 2008 • Category: free agents, major leagues, will ohman

Will Ohman has thusfar been one of the most heavly pursued free agents. Ohman, 31, spent last season with the Atlanta Braves working as a left handed specialist.

He will likely be the latest of these specialist relievers who will sign a multi-year deal. Ohman was aquired last winter by the Braves along with Omar Infante for pitcher Jose Ascanio.

Ohman held left handers to a .200 average against, while right handers hit .256 against the reliever.
