Colt McCoy earned his Horns

Texas Quarterback Colt McCoy was going to be remembered for years but after last nights thrilling performance he’ll go down in legend.

The Cleveland Plain Dealer proclaimed “Ohio State Buckeyes lose to Texas Longhorns in Fiesta Bowl” while the Fort Worth Star-Telegram may have been a little more accurate when they said “Texas Longhorns top Ohio State Buckeyes in dramatic fashion“.

I cannot tell a lie. I fell asleep once Texas jumped out to a 17-6 lead in the third. Not on purpose but when you are laying in bed watching the game it sometimes happens.

I missed Ohio States rally and Colt McCoys stunning play with 16 seconds left that gave the Longhorns the victory.

I am ashamed of myself.

  1. The kid put up an incredible amount of yards against the Buckeyes.

  2. Agreed. The Buckeyes were quite the test for the Horns though.
