Today is Indy, so what?

By john • May 25th, 2008 • Category: indy 500, indy car, nascar

Only hours till the start of the Indy 500 I question everyone out there to name one other event in the Indy Car series.
To say Indy Car has fallen off the map is an understatement.
Just today my wife dressed our seven week old in a Jeff Gordon outfit. You can’t down any isle in Wal-Mart [...]

By john • Feb 24th, 2008 • Category: california speedway, nascar

After the NASCAR Nationwide Series failed to get under way last night NASCAR fans turned into FOX today only to find out that they would be waiting three hours for the start of the Sprint Cup race at California Speedway.

The even started as [...]

With five hours to go before the start of the Daytona 500 my juices are flowing. While I haven’t backed off of some of my criticizing of NASCAR or my overall prediction of the championship result I’d by lying if I said I wasn’t excited and dreaming.
It’s February 17th and nothing is going to stop [...]

NASCAR ‘08 I’m not excited at all

By john • Feb 10th, 2008 • Category: nascar

Matt Crossman posted about the dumbest thing ever about why to be excited for NASCAR this year. I won’t force my viewers to click the preceding link if they don’t want to so I’ll go ahead and list his Five reasons to get excited.

Anybody who predicts who will win the Daytona 500 before the final [...]

NASCAR “insert latest sponsor” Bud Shootout Tonight

By john • Feb 9th, 2008 • Category: nascar

NASCAR will have it’s first unofficial race of the season tonight when 23 drivers take to the Daytona Track for the Bud Shootout. This race is for no points and well judging from the actions of Tony Stewart who wrecked Kurt Busch and later Busch bumping Stewart before entering pit road in practice I’m sure [...]
