Whataburger Field
Dates Attended: 2006 Season
Lasting Impression: The nicest stadium we have attended on the minor league level. The field appeared to be taken care of nicely. The gift shop is top notch and holds many souviners. Inside the park there’s Whataburger to be served for all.
The surrounding area isn’t the best. Aside from a rundown neighborhood it also featues a distinct foul beach smell. There is adequte parking but you have to pay for it. There’s nothing to do next to the ballpark, except walking on train tracks.
Ultimatley a few years will tell if the stadium is taken care of by the staff.
