Before I forget Greg Maddux is scheduled to make 10 million dollars next season. He also has a player option that starts at 6.5 million for 2008 and incentives that could make the second season worth 10 million if he reaches 180 innings according to the Padres offical site. Maddux has topped 180 innings in each of his 19 full seasons in the majors.With guys like Gil Meche, Ted Lilly and Vincente Padilla making in surplus of that number this almost seems like a bargin for a pitcher with no real injury history. Not to mention the guy is a 300 game winner and seems to pick up 15 wins every season.
