Maddux tosses complete game against Reds
By john | May 15, 2007
On Monday Greg Maddux showed he still had what it takes to throw a complete game. On his way to picking up career win 336, his third of the season, Maddux scattered just five hits and held the Reds scoreless until the ninth.
The Padres won the game 7-1 and for Maddux it marked the first complete came since the end of 2005. It was the 109th complete game of his career. The win puts him 6 behind Tim Keefe on the All Time list.
Last season Maddux was 5-0 against the Reds, the most wins against any team in a season in his career.
