Maddux thrown overboard by Mariners

In his first interleague matchup of the season Greg Maddux was roughed up by the Seattle Mariners. Lasting only 3 2/3 innings after allowing 7 earned runs, 12 hits, and two homers.

The loss was his third of the season. Horacio Ramirez pitched for the Mariners allowing three runs over six innings for his fourth win.

Other Notes

Former teammates John Smoltz and Tom Glavine were also on the hill Saturday. Smoltz picked up career win 199, while Glavine moved one notch closer to 300 with career win 295.
