Maddux allowed five hits, a walk and one run while striking out four to move to 7-4 on the season. The lone run came on a Pedro Feliz. His ERA fell to 3.66, while his WHIP is a classic 1.23.
Maddux’s next outing figures to be against the Florida Marlins and Scott Olsen. (6-6, 4.93) The Marlins have been successful of late in Olsen’s starts winning 4 of his last 5.
