Maddux again goes for 351

By john | June 8, 2008

Greg Maddux has made five start since recording his 350th win and unfortunantley remains stuck at that number.

Tuesday he will face Dodger rookie left hander Clayton Kershaw. Kershaw will be making the fourth start of his career, Maddux the 721st of his.

For the season Kershaw is 0-1 with a 4.91 ERA while Maddux is 3-4 with a 3.48. The game will be in San Diego where Maddux has posted a 1.73 ERA on the year.

The Padres have scored three or fewer runs in eight games when Maddux was on the mound.
