Third start a charm for Maddux and Dodgers
After two less then stellar starts as a member of the Los Angeles Dodgers Greg Maddux came though for the team on Monday night.
While Maddux didn’t make it past the sixth inning he did pick up his seventh win of the season after holding his former team, the San Diego Padres, to two runs over 5 2/3. During the contest Maddux allowed six hits while striking out four.
The win tied him with Roger Clemens for eighth on the all time wins list. His next start will come against Arizona. (ugh)
