Maddux, Dodgers come up empty in Colorado
Greg Maddux has finally started pitching like the pitcher the Los Angeles Dodgers thought he was when they acquired him from San Diego but even seven scoreless innings against the Rockies on Sunday wasn’t enough to earn him career win 355.
Maddux allowed just two hits on the day, both singels, before exiting after seven strong innings. The Dodgers went on to lose 1-0 in 10 innings but remain 4 games ahead of Arizona in the NL West.
