Giants come out swinging against Maddux
The Arizona Diamondbacks lost earlier on the day and with Greg Maddux going against a familiar foe in the San Fransisco Giants the Los Angeles Dodgers had to be liking the way things were lining up.
But this is the world of professional baseball and sometimes things just don’t go as planned. Maddux who has only more career wins against the New York Mets was hammered for 7 runs in 5 innings of work infront of over 55 thousand fans in Los Angeles.
The loss is the 13th on the year for Maddux and assures he will not reach double digit victories since his second season in the big leagues.
