Maddux wins 18th Gold Glove
The Gold Glove winners for the NL were announced today and Greg Maddux again was a recipient. This marks the 18th time that Maddux has been selected for the award at his position.

Agent Boras suggests Maddux will retire
Scott Boras told the New York Post saying that Greg Maddux is nearly certain to retire.
“He hasn’t made a final decision, but for now it is doubtful he will play (any longer),” Boras said at the GM meetings. “As it stands now, he is not going to play.”
If true Maddux would finish his career with 355 wins, 4 consecutive Cy Young awards, and a closet full of Gold Gloves.
