Greg won the last regular season game at Fulton County stadium. (5 IP, 4h, 1er, 0 BB, 1 k) Braves reliever Mike Bielecki picked up the save being the last regular season pitcher on the mound.
While on September 28, 2003 The Braves defeat the Phillies in the final game at Veterans Stadium. Maddux goes 5 IP 4 H 2 R 2 ERs 2 K picking up the win.
Maddux is the only pitcher to win three consecutive Cy Young’s (as well as four)
When Greg won a Rawlings Gold Glove in 1990 it marked the first time anyone from the Chicago Cubs had won the award.

Greg Maddux became the oldest pitcher in big league history to steal a base at 42 years and 89 days when he stole a base against Atlanta on July 12, 2008. Jim Kaat had the previous mark. It was Maddux’s 11th stolen base of his career.
