Friday, March 23rd, 2007Even though it was just a spring training game it’s worth nothing that Greg Maddux held the Cubs scoreless for five innings in a rain shortened game. Maddux pitched four scoreless a few days ago in a minor league game.

Maddux, who missed his last start due to a mild abdominal strain, said he didn’t have any problems today. He even had a double at the plate.

Saturday, March 10th, 2007After two starts in the Cactus League, Greg Maddux has pitched 5 innings allowing 2 runs on 7 hits. Maddux has struck out four while walking two. Currently the Padres plan to start Maddux for the second game of the season in San Francisco.
