Mark Grace appeared on the Jim Rome show and was asked about his time as team mate with Greg Maddux. Here’s the exert quote by Jim Rome.
“OK, you want a story?” Grace said. “One time, Greg Maddux was pitching for the Cubs, and all of a sudden I see him grimacing and limping around. I thought he popped a groin or something. I came to the mound and I asked what was the matter.”

Mark Grace played the majority of his career manning first base at Wrigley Field. His blonde hair and blue eyes made him ever popular with the female fans, while his seemingly endless desire to give it his all won over the hearts of the Chicago faithful. Grace would end his career playing with the Arizona Diamondbacks, not before helping them win the World Series in 2001.
