1986-1992 Chicago Cubs

Timeline 1986 - 1992

Greg was originally drafted by the Chicago Cubs and was on the major league roster from 1986-1992. During that time he picked up his first three gold gloves (1990-1992) and made the All Star team three times as well. In 1992 Maddux picked up his first Cy Young as a member of the Cubs. To say the Cubs were good in that time would be a gross misinterpretation of the facts as the team finished above .500 just once. (1989 NL East Champs)
